BHSEC’s Math Team represents BHSEC citywide in math competitions. We aim to show Bardians that math isn’t all about functions and exams – it’s FUN!

This past year the Bardmaticians engaged in a two different mathematics competitions, tutoring of their peers, and met every Monday to consider interesting mathematics.  Click here to go to the Bardmaticians website.

The Bardmaticians participated in both the AMC (American Mathematics Competition), a national competition with very challenging problems, and M^3, Moody’s Mega Math Challenge. M^3 was a 14 hour super intense real world problem for which students researched, modeled, proposed solutions to in an 18 page paper.  Our team was 128th out of 11,212 teams that entered from around the country.

The Bardmaticians also operate the BHSEC Online Math Center. Students write down their questions on this open tutoring portal and the Bardmaticians respond with guidance.  See the Library website BHSEC library for the link.
