The Next PTA meeting on 5/17 will feature the annual “Year 2 College Search Debrief” panel - do not miss it!

We have assembled a panel of Year 2 students and parents to answers your questions about the college search, application, and decision process. They will share their experience about the search for the perfect college over the past year. A student’s primary purpose in college is to get an education - one that suits them best and allows them to achieve their own intellectual and professional goals. Academic fit, environment, availability of extracurricular opportunities, and social climate are all very important factors in choosing a college. In deciding between colleges that offer all of the above, students and parents perform what amounts to college search gymnastics before making the final important decision. Credit transfer, financial issues, and other matters play a big role in this decision.

This meeting is informative and of value to all parents and students in every grade because it helps them plan ahead. Come learn how this year’s graduates made their decision, and how the BHSEC College Transfer Office (CTO) advised helped.

In this meeting also we will present the 2012-2013 proposed budget for review, and will elect parents to the BHSEC PTA executive board and School Leadership Team (SLT).
